Brent Makes Music - July 2022
Dear Parents,
This year, we are proud to announce that our School Choir will once again be taking part in Brent Makes Music.
This amazing event takes place every 2 years and is hosted in Wembley Arena.
Our children will be performing as part of the massed Brent Choir and will be singing throughout the evening's performances, which will also showcase the Brent Choir and Orchestras and the skills of Brent's Young Musicians.

R.E. Day - 30th March 2022
The story of Holy Week
Today our children are exploring the theme of Holy Week by visiting different classrooms in order to investigate the events which happened in Jesus' life leading up to his crucifixion.
The children are hearing stories from the Bible and are undertaking various activities in order to learn the message from these stories.

Oracy Competition - Spring 2022
In Spring Term, our Oracy Competition was for children to learn and recite a poem confidently.
In the end, the winners from each class recited poetry clearly in front of the whole school, which they themselves had actually written.

Science Day - Sept. 2021
Dear Parents/Carers,
Community Science Show
Christ Church have been fortunate enough to win a Royal Institute Science day. This will be taking place on Friday 17th September. During the day, children will be watching live science shows performed by the Royal Institute. However, and perhaps more excitingly, there will also be a community show performed in the evening to children, parents and carers, and members of staff. This will begin at 4.30pm and finish at 5.30pm. The event will take place in the school hall.
A community show in the evening for friends and family is a great opportunity for parents to engage with your children’s science education. We know that support for science in the home is a strong factor in children continuing with science in the later stages of school.
Because we anticipate this being an extremely popular event, tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. An adult ticket will be £5 while children will be able to enter for free.
Please visit the office to book your ticket now!

Anti-Bullying Week
Autumn 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
The theme for Anti Bullying Week this year is ‘One Kind Word’.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons, that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week for 2021. To kick off the week on Monday 15th November, we are encouraging our pupils to take part in "Odd Socks Day". Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! We encourage all pupils and staff will wear odd socks to school on Monday. During the day the children will also have an opportunity to have fun and spread awareness of the core values of Anti-Bullying Week.
We will be running a competition during the week to create a poster which includes the slogan.
‘ONE KIND WORD’
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enter the Anti-Bullying poster competition and please encourage your child to enter. The deadline for entry to this competition will be Thursday 18th November.
As a school, we aim to
