Harvest Festival Celebration
Christ Church - 2nd October 2023
Today our children from Year 1 - Year 6 attended Christ Church on Willesden Lane to celebrate Harvest Festival.
Our prayers and songs were led by Mother Christine, who reminded us that Harvest is a time to give thanks for all the goodness in the world and to remember those who do not have access to food and warmth.
Children from each year group brought gifts to the altar and then read prayers and bible passages to help us learn about the meaning of Harvest.
The children brought many gifts of food, which Mother Christine blessed and which we have donated to St. Laurence's Larder, who help the homeless and those in need in our local parish area.
