Welcome to Christ Church (Brondesbury)
CofE Primary School Going for GOLD with faith

Christ's Hospital School

Co-educational boarding and day school for students aged 11-18.

Christ’s Hospital is a remarkable school; it is the UK’s leading charitable school and the country's most generous bursary charity. The school was established in 1552 and provides free or substantially reduced cost places to over 630 of its 900 students each year – this is more than any other organisation in the UK. Through first-class education and exceptional pastoral support, Christ’s Hospital provides each student with stability and the opportunity to thrive and fulfil their potential. 98% of students go on to university and leavers take with them the confidence and resilience they will need to achieve success at university and beyond and to make a meaningful contribution to society.

Christ’s Hospital welcomes day students who are within a commutable distance of the school. Day students enjoy all the advantages of a top boarding school with access to an exceptional broader curricular programme.

What is so special about Christ’s Hospital is the extent of the resources on offer: outstanding teachers and pastoral staff, a broad range of activities including societies like the Medics Group to help with university applications as well as extensive and impressive sports facilities. When students start at Christ’s Hospital they are encouraged to join in and have a go, discover new hobbies, make use of the wonderful facilities on site and ensure they get the most out of their time at the school.

Boarding students’ fees are assessed according to family income, so that it is a child’s ability and potential to benefit from a Christ’s Hospital education that determines their selection. This results in a social and cultural diversity that enriches our school community and offers our students unique opportunities as we prepare them to take their place in the modern world.
