For September 2027 start

Applications are now open for Reception and Year 7 placements in schools.

Secondary School Transfer

If your child was born between 1st Sept 2015 and 31st Aug 2016, you should apply now for a place in Secondary school in September 2027.

Applications must be submitted by 31st October 2026.

Offers will be made on 1st March 2027

Reception places

If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, you should apply for a Reception place in a primary school for September 2027.

Applications must be submitted by 15th January 2027.

Offers will be made on 16th April 2027.

Note: if your child attends a Nursery attached to a school, application must still be made for Reception places - this is not an automatic transfer process.
