In today's first activity from White Rose Hub maths, we look at problem solving including multiplying and dividing.
White Rose Hub have not uploaded practise activities for today, but please click on the second link (BBC Bitesize) to find some activities to help you consolidate your skills.
Plan for maths for today:
In today's maths lesson from The Oak National Academy, we continue looking at units of measure - this time through capacity and mass (weight).
Throughout this activity you will practise skills of multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.
Remember how to do this?
When multiplying, each number gets bigger, so each digit moves to the left (1 column to x10, 2 columns to x100, 3 columns to x1000).
When dividing, each number gets smaller, so each digit moves to the right (1 column to ÷10, 2 columns to ÷100, 3 columns to ÷1000).
