Year 5, just an idea...
I thought it would be a lovely way to practice our handwriting with writing a letter of 'Thank You'. In particular, I had the idea of writing a letter of thanks to maybe one of the following:
1. NHS staff working on the frontline during the Coronavirus - doctors, nurses, paramedics, carers, pharmacists, janitors etc.
2. Key Workers - people who are working during the lockdown - shop assistants, delivery /bus/ train drivers, Headteachers and teachers and many more.
3. Parents/Carers/Guardians - for keeping you safe during lockdown.
I hope you take up the opportunity to practice your writing skills and your handwriting. If you decide to do so, please email me your letters by the end of the day Friday 22nd May 2020.
I would like to post these on the school website after half term so I hope you all enjoy the task if you decide to take part :)
If you are able to write a letter on A4 lined paper, then please do as this would be great way to practice your handwriting. You can send a picture when you have finished.
However, if you do not, please use the blank template that I have attached below.
