Dear Parents and Carers,
The theme for Anti Bullying Week this year is ‘One Kind Word’.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons, that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week for 2021. To kick off the week on Monday 15th November, we are encouraging our pupils to take part in "Odd Socks Day". Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! We encourage all pupils and staff will wear odd socks to school on Monday. During the day the children will also have an opportunity to have fun and spread awareness of the core values of Anti-Bullying Week.
We will be running a competition during the week to create a poster which includes the slogan.
‘ONE KIND WORD’
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enter the Anti-Bullying poster competition and please encourage your child to enter. The deadline for entry to this competition will be Thursday 18th November.
As a school, we aim to
