Dear Parents,

We have a vacancy on our Governing Board for a Parent Governor.

This is a volunteer role to join the Board who help to shape the future and direction of our school.

Governors meet 8 times per year and discuss information provided by the senior leadership team, providing challenge and support where possible. They also visit the school as part of learning walks and link visits to gather information about how the school is progressing.

Input from the Governors has helped our school by ensuring we continue to provide high-quality teaching and learning and best value for money for all of our children and community. In these times of falling school rolls and shrinking budgets, input and support from Governors is more key and more valuable than ever.
