Stars of the Week

  Golden Learning Golden Values
St. Joseph Ali Khalid for being very focused and engaged in role play and learning to be more patient and sharing his toys.   Zion for looking after, encouraging and engaging with the little ones in our class. Also, for following the instructions and working hard in all subjects.
St. Nicholas
St. George Alesia made a great contribution to a discussion we were having in maths about odd and even numbers.  I was very impressed with her ideas as this was the first time we had ever explored this topic! Excellent work Alesia 😊   Rami has been using his wisdom to make the right choices in and out of the classroom. Well done!
St. Andrew

Tayseir and Aya

Both Aya and Tayseir have shown great focus and participation across all lessons since returning to school this term.
Additionally, Tayseir has shown a remarkable improvement in her spelling tests - well done.

Abdulrauf – Wisdom and Respect

Abdulrauf truly shines and shows us all what it means to use wisdom and respect in our classroom.
He consistently demonstrates kindness towards others, always lending a hand and listens to others.

St. Paul Yehia: All week Yehia consistently been going for gold in every way. This has been in every lesson and has been a pleasure to see.

Maansvi: Wisdom and compassion.

Maansvi has offered some really great answers in Maths lesson and has shown great compassion to her classmates.

St. Elizabeth

For being scientist of the week – Luke

Luke amazed everyone with his scientific thinking.

Shazil demonstrated perseverance in maths when he was faced with a problem that stopped him in his tracks. He worked his brain so hard, he almost gave himself a headache. He gave every minute he had to solving the problem until he ran out of time.

St. Peter Chyna is seriously applying herself to Going for Gold with Faith in all aspects of her learning now. She is managing her distractions, focusing well and asking for help when she needs it, especially in maths. Ms Qutab has also been singing her praises to me about Chyna’s current attitude to her learning.  Using this ½ term’s value - Friendship – and showing a lot of wisdom, Logan has been putting extra effort into being an excellent friend to his class this week: listening hard, paying attention, following instructions, then supporting his peers and encouraging them to make the right choices.  Fantastic effort, Logan – keep it up!
