Times Tables Rock Stars

For Years 2 and above, this is a great way to encourage children to learn their multiplication tables. As they play they earn coins which can be used to buy more kit for their rock star. They are graded on speed and as they play they get faster and faster. Your class teacher may be providing links to this already in the daily learning.

STOPs Problem Solving

For Years 1 and above, this site is full of rich problem solving tasks which require children to apply their mathematical knowledge and problem solving strategies in order to solve them. There is a home learning booklet for each year group which can be found in the 'Covid 19' section of the website. The booklet contains helpful tips for ways to simplify the problem or make it more challenging.
