Dear Parents,

We have our Open event for Year 6 students on Wednesday 15th September 2021 at 4.30 – 6.30pm and we will ensure that all visitors and staff are safe to come onsite.  
I am the new headteacher of The Crest Academy and my team and I are keen to develop links with all our feeder schools. Mr Doyle (Head of Year 7) will be the link with our feeder schools so that we can ensure the pastoral transition is excellent should we be the school of choice for your students.  

We want all of our students to be happy successful and kind and we expect all students to dream big, think better and be determined to achieve their best! High aspirations for all students will allow them to flourish as life-long learners and we welcome your support in challenging our young people to strive for personal excellence in all they do.

At the heart of my personal values is respect. I expect all students to be respectful towards all staff and their peers, allowing outstanding learning to take place. Students who fall below our expectations will be challenged and supported in developing themselves as a committed and successful student.                                                                                
Our staff will demand the highest standards from each and every student; ensuring they are punctual, smartly dressed, polite and conscientious learners. The school community will challenge every student to aspire for academic excellence and we will provide a 6th Form provision which will allow access to Russell Group Universities.
